If Atilano Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cascadia United's Dario Gutierrez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Cascadia United from getting a goal against them. Cascadia United's Dario Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Vedillo in the 12th minute of play. Octavio Ellande's late challenge caught a Quitilipi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Ellande helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cascadia United getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Octavio Ellande hit a great ball. When Joaquin Araoz came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Cascadia United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Araoz couldn't finish the play. Salvador Ramond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Araoz in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Cascadia United were awarded a corner. Atilano Jerrald went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Vedillo in the 28th minute of play forced Cascadia United's goalkeeper Dario Gutierrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Araoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Cascadia United's Dario Gutierrez got control of the ball when Laureano Faron tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Quitilipi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cascadia United were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atilano Jerrald to strike the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Araoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Salvador Ramond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Vedillo came free, but Dario Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilano Jerrald hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes, Claudio Miro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quitilipi and the Cascadia United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Quitilipi getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Claudio Miro hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Robustiano Ulizes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Cascadia United got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Suero. 75 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Vedillo came free, but Dario Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Quitilipi getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Claudio Miro hit a great ball. Quitilipi's Salvador Ramond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Jerrald in the 79th minute of play. The Cascadia United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 86th minute, Cascadia United's Atilano Jerrald ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Salvador Ramond. Salvador Ramond yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Silverio Gonzo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Although Quitilipi had been in control for most of the match, Cascadia United still came away with the win.
