That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. After some careless play in the La Cosa Nostra defense, Ricardo Clis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilano Urre. The La Cosa Nostra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilano Urre should have stopped the shot. La Cosa Nostra's Atilano Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Clis in the 11th minute of play. Atilano Urre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Clis went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Atilano Urre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Estebano. 20 minutes into the game, Ricardo Clis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Atilano Urre. Ricardo Clis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Ricardo Clis took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Atilano Urre to make any attempt to save it. Everardo Sal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Bakar, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 27 minutes, Emilio Cordeal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yalapa and the La Cosa Nostra players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Emilio Cordeal got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute, Yalapa's Joel Estebano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Atilano Urre. Atilano Urre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Laureano Endura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Yalapa getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ricardo Clis hit a great ball. Yalapa's Everardo Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Bakar in the 38th minute of play. La Cosa Nostra's Atilano Urre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save La Cosa Nostra from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Bakar made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ricardo Clis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yalapa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 55 minutes into the game, Laureano Endura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Cosa Nostra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yalapa the free kick. Emilio Cordeal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Atilano Urre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Cosa Nostra's Atilano Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Estebano in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Ricardo Clis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Ricardo Clis notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of La Cosa Nostra's Atilano Urre. Atilano Urre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Estebano scored 9-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atilano Urre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atilano Urre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Leon Otoniel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atilano Urre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. 94 minutes into the game, Ricardo Clis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Atilano Urre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yalapa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
