In the 3rd minute, Damián Díaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prudentio Telaeche was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 7th match minute, Club Deportes La Serena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Gutiérrez to maneuver through the defense. Prudentio Telaeche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos-Alberto Ojeda, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 16 minutes, Xabel Doursther mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportes La Serena and the RockCity F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17thth minute of the game Damián Díaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportes La Serena's Prudentio Telaeche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, RockCity F.C.'s Carlos-Alberto Ojeda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prudentio Telaeche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Prudentio Telaeche came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by RockCity F.C.'s Damián Díaz. But to his dismay, Damián Díaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Dalaje in the 26th minute of play forced Club Deportes La Serena's goalkeeper Prudentio Telaeche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Mateo Carmenes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RockCity F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportes La Serena the free kick. A collision led to RockCity F.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Mateo Carmenes hit a great ball. If Albin Pumaraboli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Club Deportes La Serena fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Club Deportes La Serena's Mark Diaz de León looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half RockCity F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mark Diaz de León stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Rogerio Recalde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damián Díaz got free with Prudentio Telaeche in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ermegildo Gutiérrez hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Pedro Uncal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Pumaraboli in the 63rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Prudentio Telaeche successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Agustín Dalaje fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudentio Telaeche having to interfere. When RockCity F.C.'s Damián Díaz in 71 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Prudentio Telaeche guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Jose Maria Villaseñor's late challenge caught a RockCity F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Maria Villaseñor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Deportes La Serena getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jose Maria Villaseñor hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Pumaraboli in the 79th minute of play forced RockCity F.C.'s goalkeeper Pedro Uncal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zunbeltz Parra kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Villegas Alejandre kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Club Deportes La Serena's Francisco Alberto Fenieux tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to RockCity F.C. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jorge Taboada hit a great ball. Damián Díaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prudentio Telaeche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Zunbeltz Parra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prudentio Telaeche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damián Díaz in the 94th minute of the match. The RockCity F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
