Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Equipo's Victor Orzaize started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Equipo's Victor Orzaize got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th match minute, Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Erlantz to maneuver through the defense. Victor Orzaize scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erubiel Abascal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Honorio Arnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Abello came free, but Gavino Eguntsenti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavino Eguntsenti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Abello in the 18th minute of the match. Florentino Eufemio's late challenge caught a River CBBA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Eufemio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Eufemio to maneuver through the defense. With 20 minutes on the clock, Iker Erlantz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Equipo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of River CBBA:s goal. Gavino Eguntsenti had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Lazaro Abadie's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 26th minute, Henrique Abecia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gavino Eguntsenti. The goal made the score 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joam Abaurre during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes River CBBA got a freekick which was hit by Joam Abaurre. Gavino Eguntsenti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Abello in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when António Alzamendi came free, but Gavino Eguntsenti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When River CBBA's António Alzamendi in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Equipo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 44th minute, António Alzamendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and António Alzamendi made a kick off. Gavino Eguntsenti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurken Abar in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Victor Orzaize had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erubiel Abascal. River CBBA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Orzaize was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Gavino Eguntsenti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Alzamendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the game, River CBBA's António Alzamendi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gavino Eguntsenti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. River CBBA made a substitution. Ulises Abeita replaced Joam Abaurre. In the 73rd minute Teobaldo Abello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Eguntsenti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Abello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gavino Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Eguntsenti came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by River CBBA's Oliverio Abella. But to his dismay, Oliverio Abella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. With a little luck, River CBBA's Erubiel Abascal got control of the ball when Victor Orzaize tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of River CBBA booed when Equipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Orzaize didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Alzamendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes, Casimiro Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Equipo and the River CBBA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Barros to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The River CBBA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Equipo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
