Estonia's Raimo Ülend played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dušan Vlahovic in the 19th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Serbia's Grgur Ćulibrk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Innar Laaneloog might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremije Mirković. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serbia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Innar Laaneloog was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. J.P. Morgan hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Innar Laaneloog got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Estonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Innar Laaneloog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Innar Laaneloog to make the kick off. Gabriel Niitsoo might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremije Mirković. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After having played for 92 minutes, Gabriel Niitsoo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Niitsoo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Serbia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Estonia's performance. The match ended with a win for Estonia.
