Raul Villarreal charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Villarreal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Raul Villarreal. Carlos Garcia came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jaqué F.C.'s Tomaso Morris. But to his dismay, Tomaso Morris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hector Herbruger's late challenge caught a Jaqué F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Herbruger helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Hector Herbruger got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Generoso Ticho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Villarreal got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Raul Villarreal got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Aizprua came free, but Carlos Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomaso Morris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Carlos Garcia made a huge save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Aizprua was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Gabriel Paredes managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Boca Juniors's Generoso Ticho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ivan Amaya charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 66th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Amaya to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Tomaso Morris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomaso Morris in the 73rd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Carlos Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Gabriel Paredes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jaime Aizprua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Garcia having to interfere. If Tomaso Morris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomaso Morris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Aizprua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Garcia having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Jaqué F.C. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
