Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 9th minute, Edmund Paris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sam Hedrick was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. McDonald FC's Rich Trotter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Anderson in the 12th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Mountain got a freekick which was hit by Tommie Gifford. After having played for 15 minutes, Edmund Paris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. McDonald FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmund Paris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mountain's Sam Hedrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terrance Roark in the 19th minute of play. Francisco Anderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rich Trotter having to interfere. In the 23rd minute of the match Ben Neal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rich Trotter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tommie Gifford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rich Trotter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Anderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rich Trotter having to interfere. Francisco Anderson scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rich Trotter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dexter Mills during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dexter Mills hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradly Mobley in the 44th minute of play forced McDonald FC's goalkeeper Rich Trotter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Terrance Roark made a kick off. The Mountain fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Mountain's Francisco Anderson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rich Trotter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommie Gifford, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Tommie Gifford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Rich Trotter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mountain's Sam Hedrick got control of the ball when Edmund Paris tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Mountain's goal looked a bit too open when Terrance Roark came free, but Sam Hedrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Terrance Roark came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the McDonald FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terrance Roark couldn't finish the play. The supporters of McDonald FC booed when Mountain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jackson Paige didn't get a good kick on the ball. Terrance Roark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Hedrick having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Terrance Roark lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Sam Hedrick. With a little luck, Mountain's Sam Hedrick got control of the ball when Edmund Paris tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tommie Gifford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rich Trotter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommie Gifford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The McDonald FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing McDonald FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
