Javier Waddell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Rich Trotter made a huge save. Noel Cao Xiao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Paris, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Terrance Roark in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Cao Xiao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th match minute, Lithonia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Waddell to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of McDonald FC booed when Lithonia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Waddell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rich Trotter was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kurtis Grossman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Terrance Roark made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Edmund Paris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Noel Cao Xiao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Terrance Roark's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind McDonald FC's goalkeeper Rich Trotter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, McDonald FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Stark to maneuver through the defense. McDonald FC's Terrance Roark got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 76 minutes, Terrance Roark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. McDonald FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terrance Roark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Noel Cao Xiao made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Edmund Paris sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the McDonald FC defense, Roman McCann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rich Trotter. The McDonald FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rich Trotter should have stopped the shot. Kurtis Grossman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rich Trotter having to interfere. Roman McCann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind McDonald FC's goalkeeper Rich Trotter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kurtis Grossman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rich Trotter having to make a save. Rich Trotter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurtis Grossman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lithonia AFC had won after a very even match.
