Spectators: 10908 (Terracing: 8192, Seating: 2511, VIP seats: 205) Creekers's Ladislao Gines started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Ladislao Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Creekers booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Major didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Ladislao Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creekers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Gines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremy Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Creekers's Ladislao Gines slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jeremy Nicholas. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. Jeremy Nicholas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Gines's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute, Creekers's Ladislao Gines ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeremy Nicholas. Jeremy Nicholas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The throw-in from Uku Karju in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by New England Minas's Alperen Öksüz. Bryant Miles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörgen Frohm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bryant Miles came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Tio Lio. But to his dismay, Tio Lio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ladislao Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creekers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Gines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremy Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, New England Minas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leevi Kampman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 37th minute Oscar Nordmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryant Miles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when New England Minas's Oscar Nordmark fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 41 minutes into the game, Tio Lio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bryant Miles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Creekers's Uku Karju quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ye Gang Cheng, made in the 46th minute of the game.

The wind increased when Tio Lio made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Bryant Miles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Ladislao Gines put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. Creekers made a substitution. Riley Trotter replaced Ladislao Gines. New England Minas's Edgardo Silva was substituted for Tio Lio. New England Minas's Emmitt Benson was substituted for Alperen Öksüz. New England Minas's Hipolito Emenon was substituted for Jörgen Frohm. Bryant Miles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Tony Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in New England Minas's zone, Riley Trotter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal and Riley Trotter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Silva got free with Bryant Miles in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bryant Miles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 88th minute of play. Tony Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
