Arvin Hökkvist was a little too slow when Sung McKinley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sung McKinley got free with Arvin Hökkvist in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the game, Sung McKinley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arvin Hökkvist. Sung McKinley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. American Airlines's Edwin 雷震南 got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute Edwin 雷震南 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jermaine Richmond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anoush Khalatbari to make the kick off. After some careless play in the American Airlines defense, Hu Wei Shu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arvin Hökkvist. The American Airlines fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arvin Hökkvist should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Hu Wei Shu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arvin Hökkvist was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Khachatryan made a substitution. Antoine Schaefer replaced Zé Augusto Souza. The supporters of Khachatryan booed when American Airlines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jermaine Richmond, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Sung McKinley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jermaine Richmond made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Anoush Khalatbari sent off a good shot on target. Khachatryan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
