In the 3rd match minute, Barriga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Eduardo Seco to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurinho Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Quaresma in the 6th minute of the match. Zé Carlos Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Zé Carlos Quaresma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurinho Pinho was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Barriga's Maurinho Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Abraão in the 12th minute of play. Maurinho Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Maurinho Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos Quaresma in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Zé Carlos Quaresma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monumento Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Zé Carlos Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurinho Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Abraão in the 23rd minute of the match. Dino Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Zé Carlos Quaresma came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Monumento Sports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Carlos Quaresma couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Zé Carlos Quaresma struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Maurinho Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monumento Sports. After having played for 31 minutes, Zé Carlos Quaresma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monumento Sports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Carlos Quaresma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Teodoro Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 40 played minutes Barriga got a freekick which was hit by Dino Maciel. After 45 minutes, Teodoro Abraão made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Barriga's Maurinho Pinho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Zé Carlos Quaresma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Maurinho Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Barriga's zone, Teodoro Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurinho Pinho came out of the goal and Teodoro Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodoro Abraão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maurinho Pinho having to make a save. Zé Carlos Quaresma received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurinho Pinho came out and tried to block the shot, but Zé Carlos Quaresma slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 63rd minute. Maurinho Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos Quaresma, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Abraão got free with Maurinho Pinho in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodoro Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Maurinho Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurinho Pinho came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Monumento Sports's Teodoro Abraão. But to his dismay, Teodoro Abraão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Maurinho Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos Quaresma in the 82nd minute of play. Teodoro Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zé Carlos Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's Teodoro Abraão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurinho Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barriga's Maurinho Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Quaresma in the 96th minute of play. The Barriga fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Monumento Sports were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
