Kiko Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Trigo in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curunhu AD's goalkeeper Artur Tinoco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Manolo Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kiko Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Kléber da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Antônio Carlos Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Guaramirim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Carlos Cabral couldn't finish the play. Kiko Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Manolo Galvão made a precise shot to the right of Kiko Paraense. Guaramirim FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Guaramirim FC's Kiko Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Galvão in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Rui Severo made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos Cabral notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Curunhu AD's Artur Tinoco. Artur Tinoco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Haroldo Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Curunhu AD's Haroldo Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Antônio Carlos Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Guaramirim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Carlos Cabral couldn't finish the play. After 66 played minutes Curunhu AD got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Baptista. Rui Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Artur Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiko Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolo Galvão in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Galvão in the 71st minute of play forced Guaramirim FC's goalkeeper Kiko Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Moraes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kiko Paraense having to make a save. Guaramirim FC's Kiko Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Moraes in the 79th minute of play. Haroldo Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Manolo Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Carlos Cabral in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rui Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Cabral in the 92nd minute of play. Kiko Paraense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroldo Moraes in the 94th minute. Curunhu AD were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
