The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Guilherme Simões was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game João Francisco Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belga Sport Club's Dadá Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Francisco Dantas in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dadá Paiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When João Francisco Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Combate Barreirinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Francisco Dantas couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, João Francisco Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Combate Barreirinha's supporters rose to their feet, but João Francisco Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dadá Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Guilherme Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Combate Barreirinha's José Pedro Vargas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Combate Barreirinha from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the game, Guto Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Combate Barreirinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belga Sport Club the free kick. A collision led to Combate Barreirinha getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Guto Porto hit a great ball.
