Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eliézer Prado started the match with the kick off. Tauariazinho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Luizinho Prado scored to the left of an out of position Zé Augusto Bueno, making the score, 1-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Tauariazinho:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LobatenseEC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, LobatenseEC's Gustavo Valladares got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zé Augusto Bueno. In the 16th play minute Gustavo Valladares came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zé Augusto Bueno. 3-0. Zé Augusto Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Andrézinho Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LobatenseEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrézinho Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Tauariazinho defense, Gustavo Valladares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Augusto Bueno. The Tauariazinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Augusto Bueno should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the game, Andrézinho Monteiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Zé Augusto Bueno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Inácio Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Zé Augusto Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Inácio Cardozo made a precise shot to the right of Zé Augusto Bueno. Tauariazinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Valladares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to LobatenseEC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Luizinho Prado hit a great ball. With a little luck, LobatenseEC's Álvaro Arruda got control of the ball when Ulysses Sabóia tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gustavo Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrézinho Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Zé Augusto Bueno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LobatenseEC. Victor Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Víktor Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st match minute, Tauariazinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Salgado to maneuver through the defense. In the game's 72nd minute LobatenseEC's Gustavo Valladares took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Zé Augusto Bueno and thus the score was 7-0. Serafim Rossi hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Andrézinho Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Augusto Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Inácio Cardozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Zé Augusto Bueno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th match minute, LobatenseEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Andrade to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, LobatenseEC's goalkeeper Álvaro Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulysses Sabóia. Inácio Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Zé Augusto Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Monteiro in the 89th minute of play. LobatenseEC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
