LobatenseEC's Álvaro Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Schmidt in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Valladares to make the kick off. LobatenseEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Valladares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Imaculada AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Falcão to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of LobatenseEC booed when Imaculada AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to LobatenseEC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Inácio Cardozo hit a great ball. Imaculada AD's Thiago Fantini couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for LobatenseEC. LobatenseEC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
