Raí Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Garcia in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 8thth minute of the game Diego Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canavani FC's Raí Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raí Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Figueiredo in the 9th minute of play. After 12 played minutes, Boturobi FC's João de Senna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raí Batista came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boturobi FC reached it. In the 15th minute, Vito de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Abelardo Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canavani FC's Raí Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Boturobi FC booed when Canavani FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Boturobi FC's João de Senna tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Diego Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raí Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Elano Toscano succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Arthur Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Bueno in the 35th minute of play forced Boturobi FC's goalkeeper Wellington Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canavani FC's Raí Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Figueiredo in the 37th minute of play. Abelardo Garcia took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raí Batista. Raí Batista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Bueno to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Abelardo Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abelardo Garcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raí Batista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abelardo Garcia ran back to his position shaking his head. Abelardo Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Raí Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Boturobi FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Cardoso. After 63 played minutes, Canavani FC's Gugu Costa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wellington Souto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Canavani FC reached it. The supporters of Boturobi FC booed when Canavani FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Batista having to interfere. Abelardo Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wellington Souto came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Canavani FC's Elano Toscano. But to his dismay, Elano Toscano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience was convinced that Abelardo Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raí Batista was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Boturobi FC's Dorival Soeiro got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Elano Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Canavani FC booed when Boturobi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rafael Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Canavani FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Bueno couldn't finish the play. Elano Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Souto having to interfere. Boturobi FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Canavani FC had won, even though Boturobi FC had held more of the ball.
