Afonsinho Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Munhoz having to interfere. Roger Munhoz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovanni Brasil went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gil Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Munhoz having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Montilla F.C. Lavras-CE's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Alvarenga came free, but Danny Ocean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montilla F.C. Lavras-CE were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Urutagua's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maurício Linhares took the corner. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Carlos Fernando Alvarenga made the kick off in the second half. Geovanni Brasil took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Munhoz. Roger Munhoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 63 minutes into the match, Montilla F.C. Lavras-CE's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Alvarenga came free, but Danny Ocean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danny Ocean came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Urutagua's Hílton Lago. But to his dismay, Hílton Lago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 68th minute, Hílton Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Urutagua's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Messias came free, but Roger Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Porto in the 74th minute of play forced Urutagua's goalkeeper Roger Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Urutagua's Hílton Lago in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montilla F.C. Lavras-CE's goalie prevented a goal. Hílton Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Ocean having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Gil Pitta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montilla F.C. Lavras-CE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urutagua the free kick. Dagoberto Hermes's shot from long distance in the 86th minute was not bad at all, but Montilla F.C. Lavras-CE's Danny Ocean knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 88th minute Ramón Limam suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 89th match minute, Urutagua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Tróia to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Maurício Linhares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Munhoz skillfully saved the ball.
