Spectators: 7175 (Terracing: 5383, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jairo Freitas started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Time do Budão getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. João Augusto Barros hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ulbio AD's Tiago Arósio tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 10th match minute, Time do Budão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Váldson Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Ferreira in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Ferreira got free with Váldson Braga in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Time do Budão's goalkeeper Váldson Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias Ferreira. 23 minutes into the game, Guga Moreira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Váldson Braga. Guga Moreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Time do Budão's Váldson Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Moreira in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ulbio AD's Wilson Rodrigues got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ulbio AD! In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Time do Budão. Eliézer de Sena stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arnaldo Mangueira. 1-1. In the 34th minute, Jeremias Pontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ulbio AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Freitas in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Mangueira saved Ulbio AD from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Time do Budão were furious when Belchior Simões was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Belchior Simões hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Time do Budão's Jairo Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Time do Budão's Jairo Freitas in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ulbio AD's goalie prevented a goal. Time do Budão's Lucas Macedo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Henrique Figueiredo, made in the 61st minute of the game. Guga Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Váldson Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Freitas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Arnaldo Mangueira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Lucas Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Clemente Lira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Váldson Braga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Time do Budão's Váldson Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Moreira in the 90th minute of play. Váldson Braga came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Ulbio AD's Guga Moreira. But to his dismay, Guga Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Ulbio AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
