Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Faustão Pitta made the kick off and thus started the match. Faustão Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rubinho Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldinho Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Mineiro having to interfere. If Faustão Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Afonsinho Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jenipapeiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of Jenipapeiro booed when Itamoabo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Itamoabo's Dudu Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Nogueira in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Itamoabo's Clóvis Simão got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Osvaldinho Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Mineiro having to interfere. Afonsinho Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dudu Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Osvaldinho Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Jenipapeiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldinho Nogueira couldn't finish the play. After 39 minutes of play, Jenipapeiro's Afonsinho Urbano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dudu Mineiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dudu Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Nogueira in the 43rd minute of the match. Adalberto Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Dudu Mineiro came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapeiro's Afonsinho Urbano. But to his dismay, Afonsinho Urbano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When Jenipapeiro's Osvaldinho Nogueira in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itamoabo's goalie prevented a goal. Faustão Pitta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rubinho Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonsinho Urbano in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dudu Mineiro saved Itamoabo from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Itamoabo's Claudinho Amaral got a free kick in the 67th minute. Rubinho Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustão Pitta's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Itamoabo's zone, Afonsinho Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dudu Mineiro came out of the goal and Afonsinho Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gláuber Barros hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Iuri Alcântara, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Jenipapeiro fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Jenipapeiro's Afonsinho Urbano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dudu Mineiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldinho Nogueira's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Afonsinho Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dudu Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Osvaldinho Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dudu Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Itamoabo's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Nogueira came free, but Dudu Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dudu Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Osvaldinho Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dudu Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Itamoabo getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Edvaldo Schmidt hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinho Amaral during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th match minute, Itamoabo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Jenipapeiro's Iuri Alcântara tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jenipapeiro walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
