Moisés Costa lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 16 minutes into the game, one of Ainelga FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Denílson Cerezo, was totally fooled by Marionopolis's Sebastião Barral, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 26 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Arce notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Marionopolis's Kaká Paulista. Kaká Paulista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the match, Ainelga FC's goalkeeper Denílson Cerezo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dráuzio Cruz. In the 41st minute of the match César Pereira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaká Paulista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marionopolis's zone, Osvaldo Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaká Paulista came out of the goal and Osvaldo Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Fabrício Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ainelga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrício Coelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marionopolis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Osvaldo Arce scored to the left of an out of position Kaká Paulista, making the score, 1-2. Luiz Eduardo Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Cerezo having to interfere. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ainelga FC's goalkeeper Denílson Cerezo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dráuzio Cruz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denílson Cerezo having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Marionopolis's zone, Osvaldo Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaká Paulista came out of the goal and Osvaldo Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes in the game, Fabrício Coelho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kaká Paulista having to interfere. Osvaldo Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Paulista having to interfere. Luiz Eduardo Negri took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson Cerezo. Denílson Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Osvaldo Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Kaká Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dráuzio Cruz took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson Cerezo. Denílson Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Marionopolis's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
