Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Laerte Trancoso suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Dadá Souto charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dadá Souto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dadá Souto hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Operário Esporte Clube's Doni Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago França in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute Toninho Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Sydney Peixoto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Toninho Dionísio sped through Cunhaporanga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Falcão Negri. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fábio Garcia during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tiago França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Doni Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Sydney Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes Cunhaporanga got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Souto. 31 minutes into the match, Tibúrcio Borges had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doni Vasconcelos. Operário Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tibúrcio Borges was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Miguel Fernandez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Doni Vasconcelos firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 37th minute, Operário Esporte Clube's Sydney Peixoto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sydney Peixoto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Operário Esporte Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sydney Peixoto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sydney Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Doni Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Fábio Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Operário Esporte Clube's Doni Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago França in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 54 minutes, Tiago França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cunhaporanga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doni Vasconcelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiago França went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Miguel Fernandez scored 3-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doni Vasconcelos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Fernandez in the 67th minute of play forced Operário Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Doni Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tiago França's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doni Vasconcelos was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. João Matos took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doni Vasconcelos. Doni Vasconcelos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 84th minute Ernesto da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Operário Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Fernandez came free, but Doni Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by João Matos with Ernesto da Silveira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Miguel Fernandez took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doni Vasconcelos. Doni Vasconcelos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Cunhaporanga's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
