Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Túlio da Cunha got free with Dráuzio Coelho in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute, Túlio da Cunha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dráuzio Coelho. The goal made the score 1-0. Túlio da Cunha took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráuzio Coelho. Dráuzio Coelho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Estrela Vermelha J.P's Abelardo Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Bueno in the 21st minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, Barranca AD's Ernesto Bueno made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abelardo Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dedê Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ernesto Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Túlio da Cunha sped through Barranca AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dráuzio Coelho. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barranca AD's goalkeeper Dráuzio Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Bueno was the one to do the kick off. Dráuzio Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio da Cunha in the 53rd minute of play. Dráuzio Coelho came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrela Vermelha J.P's Dedê Furtado. But to his dismay, Dedê Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. If Dedê Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio da Cunha in the 73rd minute of play forced Barranca AD's goalkeeper Dráuzio Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedê Furtado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dráuzio Coelho having to make a save. A collision led to Barranca AD getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Elder Porto hit a great ball. Dráuzio Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedê Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the game, Estrela Vermelha J.P's Dedê Furtado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dráuzio Coelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Dráuzio Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barranca AD's Dráuzio Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio da Cunha in the 90th minute of play. Dedê Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dráuzio Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Estrela Vermelha J.P were the better team. Estrela Vermelha J.P's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
