Spectators: 7297 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Claudinei Pimenta made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Sabara SC's goalkeeper Hamílton Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Pimenta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Maia in the 6th minute of play forced Chiku's goalkeeper Marcos do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Tiago Gabriel Munhoz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sabara SC's Hamílton Correia. Hamílton Correia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute Afonsinho Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chiku's Natã Vale got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Tiago Gabriel Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Loureiro in the 20th minute of play. Marcos do Valle came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sabara SC's Afonsinho Loureiro. But to his dismay, Afonsinho Loureiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Sabara SC's Afonsinho Loureiro got a free kick in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Oséias Messias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamílton Correia, 3-1. In the 30th minute, Claudinei Pimenta made a precise shot to the right of Hamílton Correia. Sabara SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 33 played minutes Sabara SC got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Maia. Oséias Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Chiku's Tiago Gabriel Munhoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hamílton Correia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. A collision led to Chiku getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Claudinei do Vale hit a great ball. With his leg Hamílton Correia managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Chiku's Claudinei Pimenta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Claudinei Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Chiku fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Pimenta couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wanderson Mangueira to strike the kick off in the second half. Wanderson Mangueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Marcos do Valle made a huge save. Décio Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Décio Galvão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Décio Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chiku's zone, Aílton Bastos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos do Valle came out of the goal and Aílton Bastos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Pimenta in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamílton Correia saved Sabara SC from getting behind. Aílton Bastos's late challenge caught a Chiku's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aílton Bastos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Sabara SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Bastos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sabara SC's zone, Claudinei Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamílton Correia came out of the goal and Claudinei Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hamílton Correia came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Chiku's Claudinei do Vale. But to his dismay, Claudinei do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 72nd minute, Toninho de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinei Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sabara SC's Wanderson Mangueira got a free kick in the 78th minute. Hamílton Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Pimenta in the 81st minute of the match. Aníbal Quintal hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Hamílton Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Munhoz in the 83rd minute of play. Aníbal Quintal hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Claudinei do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sabara SC's goalkeeper Hamílton Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gil de Godoi during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Gil de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aílton Bastos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chiku had played much better football throughout.
