Paulo Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulo Freitas hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Cauan Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Pinho in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Perivaldo Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beto Zilles was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. With his leg Beto Zilles managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Indaval's Perivaldo Reis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Indaval's zone, Ezequiel Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauan Campidelis came out of the goal and Ezequiel Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felippe Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arnaldo Nogueira fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Indaval's protests and gave Arnaldo Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead. Perivaldo Reis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Beto Zilles came out and tried to block the shot, but Perivaldo Reis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 27th minute. After 30 minutes, Ezequiel Matos made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Indaval's Cauan Campidelis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cauan Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Ezequiel Matos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cauan Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 37th minute, Dé Chaves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cauan Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Cauan Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Seco in the 39th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Iuri Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauan Campidelis. Indaval's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iuri Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The supporters of Indaval booed when Cerrado Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Indaval's Léo Gonçalves got a free kick in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel Matos to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Cerrado Esporte Clube's Dé Chaves made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cauan Campidelis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th match minute, Indaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Cerrado Esporte Clube's Beto Zilles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Reis in the 71st minute of play. Cauan Campidelis came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerrado Esporte Clube's Felippe Pinho. But to his dismay, Felippe Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-10. 78 minutes into the match, Indaval's goalkeeper Cauan Campidelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé Chaves. 80 minutes into the game, Cerrado Esporte Clube's Iuri Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cauan Campidelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-11. Indaval's Cauan Campidelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Indaval from getting a goal against them. Indaval's Perivaldo Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Orlando do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes, Felippe Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cerrado Esporte Clube and the Indaval players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cerrado Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Felippe Pinho hit a great ball. Cerrado Esporte Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
