The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enrique Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dedê Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Enrique Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Queiroz in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Roberto Lopes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Paranaense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Roberto Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, Ururoses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Leme to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Nildo Arruda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ramiro Tande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of MAJESTOSO LEÃO booed when Ururoses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dedê Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Enrique Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAJESTOSO LEÃO. The supporters of Ururoses booed when MAJESTOSO LEÃO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Ururoses's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Queiroz came free, but Enrique Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Paranaense having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dedê Queiroz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th play minute Dedê Queiroz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Enrique Paranaense. 1-2. Raúl Mandrak lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ramiro Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Arruda in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Tiago Gabriel Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dedê Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dedê Queiroz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 90 minutes, Dedê Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAJESTOSO LEÃO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dedê Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, MAJESTOSO LEÃO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, MAJESTOSO LEÃO failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
