Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Ururoses's Enrique Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Coutinho in the 3rd minute of play. FC Avenged Sevenfold's Elias Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Valle in the 10th minute of play. Durvalino Fernandez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Paranaense having to make a save. After 18 played minutes FC Avenged Sevenfold got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Monteiro. Enrique Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Coutinho in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ururoses's Dino Simões got a free kick in the 21st minute. FC Avenged Sevenfold's Durvalino Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrique Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durvalino Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Enrique Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ururoses's Enrique Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Coutinho in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Roger Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Ururoses's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Fernandez came free, but Enrique Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nildo Arruda went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of FC Avenged Sevenfold booed when Ururoses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, one of FC Avenged Sevenfold:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Avenged Sevenfold. Elias Esteves went to the wrong direction when Luiz Paulo de Lara was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With a little luck, FC Avenged Sevenfold's Elias Esteves got control of the ball when Nildo Arruda tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Luisão Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, FC Avenged Sevenfold was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osmar Castro to maneuver through the defense. A well-hit corner resulted in Dino Simões heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 63 played minutes Ururoses got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Seco. 71 minutes into the match, Ururoses's Nildo Arruda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Luisão Valle came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Ururoses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisão Valle couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute Luisão Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Enrique Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nildo Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Arruda in the 94th minute of play forced FC Avenged Sevenfold's goalkeeper Elias Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
