In the 15th minute, Raí Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerson Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. The Ama-gi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinícius Barral should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeferson de Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ama-gi's goal looked a bit too open when Gerson Albuquerque came free, but Vinícius Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ama-gi's Vinícius Barral got control of the ball when Gerson Albuquerque tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute of the match, Clemente Magalhães tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vinícius Barral saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 65th minute, Paulão Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Gerson Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salchibegows FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salchibegows FC's Clemente Magalhães managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Basílio da Silva in the 73 minute of the game. Basílio da Silva made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luizinho Maranhense immediately put the ball in play. Salchibegows FC's Gerson Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerson Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvaldo Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gerson Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Salchibegows FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerson Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Salchibegows FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ama-gi.
