The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfredo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Toledo in the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Eliseu Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético MS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Naldo Quirino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Lara's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Atlético MS's Eliseu Severo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naldo Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, Anderson Lara fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Naldo Quirino, passed just outside the right post. Alfredo Salgado came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by 100 Chance Futebol Clube's Jeferson Botelho. But to his dismay, Jeferson Botelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Anderson Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Naldo Quirino made a huge save. Alfredo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Queirós in the 30th minute of the match. When Atlético MS's Anderson Lara in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 100 Chance Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Atlético MS's Eliseu Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anderson Lara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Naldo Quirino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Atlético MS's Alfredo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Toledo in the 37th minute of play. When Beto Lima came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the 100 Chance Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Lima couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernani Toledo made a kick off. Alfredo Salgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeferson Botelho in the 53rd minute. Anderson Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Quirino having to interfere. Cristian Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 100 Chance Futebol Clube's Elivélton Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeferson Botelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Alfredo Salgado made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, 100 Chance Futebol Clube's Elivélton Novaes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elivélton Novaes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 100 Chance Futebol Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elivélton Novaes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 63rd minute, one of 100 Chance Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 100 Chance Futebol Clube. The referee gave Atlético MS a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anderson Lara, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of 100 Chance Futebol Clube's Naldo Quirino. 2-2. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Jeferson Botelho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jeferson Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alfredo Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Jeferson Botelho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jefferson Queirós during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, 100 Chance Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Jeferson Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Salgado having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Atlético MS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Severo to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Atlético MS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jeferson Botelho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The 100 Chance Futebol Clube players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Atlético MS from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
