Luís Fábio Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Luix, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ambrosio Luix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Ortiz having to interfere. GX SPORT CLUB's Luís Fábio Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Furlan in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes GX SPORT CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Corrêa. After having played for 17 minutes, Ambrosio Luix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anjos Da Noite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Luix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Fábio Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by GX SPORT CLUB's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amílcar Estrela was slow to take the kick. During this time Anjos Da Noite's players had a chance to rest. Amílcar Estrela made a great header on Anjos Da Noite's corner, it was just that GX SPORT CLUB's Luís Fábio Ortiz managed to reach the ball for a save. Amílcar Estrela shot a long shot in the 20th minute and a light blocked Luís Fábio Ortiz hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. GX SPORT CLUB's Luís Fábio Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Luix in the 28th minute of play. Ambrosio Luix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, one of Anjos Da Noite:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Anjos Da Noite. The referee gave GX SPORT CLUB a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edvaldo Fernandez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Anjos Da Noite's Alan Ortiz. 1-3. Richard Veloso's late challenge caught a Anjos Da Noite's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Veloso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, GX SPORT CLUB's Richard Veloso got a free kick in the 40th minute. Anjos Da Noite were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after GX SPORT CLUB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amílcar Estrela took the corner. Richard Veloso thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Luís Fábio Ortiz, a very annoying self made goal in the 44th minute which led to 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Gilson Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Ortiz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in GX SPORT CLUB's zone, Gilson Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fábio Ortiz came out of the goal and Gilson Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giuseppe Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giuseppe Baptista struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Luís Fábio Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anjos Da Noite. After having played for 70 minutes, Giuseppe Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anjos Da Noite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, GX SPORT CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Gaur came free, but Luís Fábio Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Amílcar Estrela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fábio Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilson Furlan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Luís Fábio Ortiz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Giuseppe Baptistas short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Luís Fábio Ortiz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 87 in the game by Gilson Furlan from a close distance when the talented Luís Fábio Ortiz managed to make a qualified save. GX SPORT CLUB's players were relieved. Emanuel Gaur kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Rony Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
