Raphael Zonta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 6th minute, Claudinei Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Igor Guedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Vander. MARTS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Guedes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 15th minute Claudinei Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egídio Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Raphael Zonta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudinei Rosa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 21 minute of play. A collision led to ZASS getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Celso Freitas hit a great ball. Zeca Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Zonta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Raphael Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Rosa in the 28th minute of the match. Raphael Zonta was a little too slow when Dinei Quirino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, MARTS's Fabinho Chaves got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Quirino in the 61st minute of play forced ZASS's goalkeeper Raphael Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Adolfo Paranaense charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Adolfo Paranaense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes ZASS got a freekick which was hit by João Adolfo Paranaense. 67 minutes into the game, Claudinei Rosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Raphael Zonta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute, Luciano Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Guedes in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, MARTS's Dinei Quirino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raphael Zonta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 81 minutes into the match, MARTS's goalkeeper Marco Vander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Prestes. Claudinei Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Armando Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZASS's protests and gave Armando Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MARTS booed when ZASS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. MARTS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
