Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Vides in the 8th minute of play forced Insanos FC's goalkeeper Aloísio do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvaldo Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Kiko de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Orlando Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maiquinique EC and the Insanos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Maiquinique EC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Ramos. Maiquinique EC's Kiko de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Lima in the 17th minute of play. Kiko de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Correia in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Maiquinique EC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Valladares. After 22 played minutes Insanos FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Pereira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Valladares got free with Aloísio do Valle in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Lima in the 26th minute of play forced Maiquinique EC's goalkeeper Kiko de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdomiro Pereira got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Maiquinique EC booed when Insanos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvaldo Torres took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kiko de Almeida. Kiko de Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edvaldo Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ediberto Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Insanos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiko de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kiko de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Medeiros in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles Vides to make the kick off. Edvaldo Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvaldo Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko de Almeida having to interfere. Washington Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko de Almeida having to interfere. Aloísio do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Linares in the 59th minute of play. When Edvaldo Torres came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Insanos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvaldo Torres couldn't finish the play. If Edvaldo Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valdemar Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvaldo Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kiko de Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Maiquinique EC's zone, Jonathan Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiko de Almeida came out of the goal and Jonathan Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Washington Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute, Edvaldo Torres made a precise shot to the right of Kiko de Almeida. Maiquinique EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Kiko de Almeida came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Insanos FC's Edvaldo Torres. But to his dismay, Edvaldo Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Dorian Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko de Almeida having to interfere. Kiko de Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvaldo Torres went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Edvaldo Torress short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Kiko de Almeida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Valdemar Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Vitório Paulista, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Maiquinique EC's Kiko de Almeida got control of the ball when Valdemar Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvaldo Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Insanos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
