After 22 played minutes Vila Pindense got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Mangueira. 23 minutes into the match, Braga FC's Kauã Rosa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 24th minute, Júnior Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vila Pindense booed when Braga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Kléberson Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
