The referee ignored Holandés Volador F.C's protests and gave Acácio Seco a yellow card for diving instead. Acácio Seco hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Kiko Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elder Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Elder Favoretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kiko Reis. Holandés Volador F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elder Favoretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cléberson Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Elder Favoretto notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Holandés Volador F.C's Kiko Reis. Kiko Reis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Holandés Volador F.C's Acácio Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Holandés Volador F.C's Fellipe Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Holandés Volador F.C's Kiko Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Vander in the 33rd minute of play. If Fellipe Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caco de Senna in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kiko Reis saved Holandés Volador F.C from getting behind. 44 minutes in the game, Elder Favoretto dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Elder Favoretto made the kick off in the second half. Elder Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Reis having to interfere. If Caco de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Holandés Volador F.C's Kiko Reis got control of the ball when Caco de Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Clube Atlético Lençoense getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Maurinho Porto hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Lençoense's Caco de Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kiko Reis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Fausto Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clube Atlético Lençoense's Elder Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Holandés Volador F.C got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Mineiro. Elder Favoretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernandão Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Elder Favoretto came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Clube Atlético Lençoense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elder Favoretto couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd match minute, Holandés Volador F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Reis to maneuver through the defense. Clube Atlético Lençoense's Caco de Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elder Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Clube Atlético Lençoense's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
