Sipeva EC's Joel Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Secco in the 4th minute of play. Joel Saraiva was a little too slow when Pedro Augusto de Queiroz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Matheus Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Matheus Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Pirangy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo de Carvalho came free, but Matheus Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matheus Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pirangy FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Reynaldo Brodel hit a great ball. After 34 minutes, Pedro Augusto de Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pirangy FC and the Sipeva EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Pirangy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Augusto de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sipeva EC booed when Pirangy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Sipeva EC's Jefferson Vander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matheus Gerber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Valdir Secco made the kick off in the second half. If Alfredo de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matheus Gerber made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Alfredo de Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the game, Jefferson Vander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Matheus Gerber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredo de Carvalho took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matheus Gerber. Matheus Gerber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Jefferson Vander struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Matheus Gerber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sipeva EC. Valter Geromel hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Flavinho Amorim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matheus Gerber. Pirangy FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zézinho Albuquerque was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pirangy FC! When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Sipeva EC's Flavinho Amorim got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Matheus Gerber. Pedro Augusto de Queiroz hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. When Sipeva EC's Jefferson Vander in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirangy FC's goalie prevented a goal. Sipeva EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
