Spectators: 7202 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jardel Esteves made the kick off which started today's match. Matheus Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Teixeira in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matheus Gerber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Teixeira in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matheus Gerber saved Pirangy FC from getting behind. Matheus Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Nascimento in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Pirangy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Valle to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Celso Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Secco got free with Jailson Santana in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matheus Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Mandrak in the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Jardel Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kapiting's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jardel Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Pirangy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Esteves came free, but Matheus Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matheus Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pirangy FC's Zézinho Albuquerque got a free kick in the 35th minute. Pirangy FC's Matheus Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Teixeira in the 38th minute of play. Jardel Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Matheus Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Agnaldo Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matheus Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Jardel Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pirangy FC's Reynaldo Brodel got a free kick in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdir Secco to strike the kick off in the second half. If Alexandre Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Pirangy FC's Matheus Gerber got control of the ball when Alexandre Teixeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matheus Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Esteves in the 55th minute of play. Jardel Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Matheus Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jardel Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinho Mandrak's late challenge caught a Pirangy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho Mandrak helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kapiting's Claudinho Mandrak got a free kick in the 61st minute. Valdir Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Santana having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Pirangy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Esteves came free, but Matheus Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Augusto de Queiroz fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 69th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Mandrak in the 72nd minute of play forced Pirangy FC's goalkeeper Matheus Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pirangy FC's Matheus Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Esteves in the 74th minute of play. If Valdir Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matheus Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Esteves in the 79th minute of play. Alexandre Teixeira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matheus Gerber came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexandre Teixeira slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Jardel Esteves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Matheus Gerber. Jardel Esteves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 93 minutes into the match, Pirangy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Esteves came free, but Matheus Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Kapiting's Alexandre Teixeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matheus Gerber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jardel Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus Gerber having to interfere. Kapiting played a much better game than Pirangy FC and deserved their victory. The Pirangy FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
