Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Atlético Felipense's Jonathan de Souza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atlético Felipense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Acácio Mello scored to the left of an out of position Sílvio Luís Leão, making the score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Ismael Chaves fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sílvio Luís Leão, passed just outside the right post. If Luizão Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Atlético Felipense's Sílvio Luís Leão got control of the ball when Acácio Mello tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Wagner AF's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan de Souza came free, but Hílton Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wagner AF's Acácio Mello got a free kick in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Acácio Mello notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Atlético Felipense's Sílvio Luís Leão. Sílvio Luís Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hélder Barbosa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Aloísio Bezerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Sílvio Luís Leão made a huge save. Ismael Chaves might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sílvio Luís Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Chaves ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Júlio Custódio in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Wagner AF's Chico Gerber. The supporters of Atlético Felipense booed when Wagner AF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorival Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sílvio Luís Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luís Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Mello in the 44th minute of play. Sílvio Luís Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Acácio Mello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Atlético Felipense defense, Acácio Mello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio Luís Leão. The Atlético Felipense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Luís Leão should have stopped the shot. Sílvio Luís Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sílvio Luís Leão came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Wagner AF's João Adolfo Simão. But to his dismay, João Adolfo Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After having played for 59 minutes, Jonathan de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Felipense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Acácio Mello took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Luís Leão. Sílvio Luís Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Luizão Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís Leão having to interfere. Atlético Felipense's Sílvio Luís Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Mello in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match Aloísio Bezerra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Luís Leão skillfully saved the ball. In the 73rd minute, João Adolfo Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Atlético Felipense getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Hélder Barbosa hit a great ball. Sílvio Luís Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Acácio Mello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Luís Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Ismael Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luís Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Luís Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Atlético Felipense's Paulo Loureiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paulo Loureiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atlético Felipense protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paulo Loureiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Paulo Loureiro hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The supporters of Wagner AF booed when Atlético Felipense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Wagner AF were the better team. Wagner AF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
