With a little luck, Real Clube Celta's José Barros got control of the ball when Osvaldinho Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Xavier in the 34th minute of play forced Real Clube Celta's goalkeeper José Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
