In the 6th minute Isaltino Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Firmiano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Isaltino Vieira scored to the left of an out of position Ismael Favoretto, making the score, 1-0. Hogwarts's Joaquim Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Tepedino in the 12th minute of play. Alessandro Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaltino Vieira in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Alessandro Tepedino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Firmiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ismael Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Joaquim Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Silvério Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Firmiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvério Toledo couldn't finish the play. Ismael Favoretto made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Luisão Botelho sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Firmiano's goalkeeper Ismael Favoretto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisão Botelho. After having played for 47 minutes, Silvério Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firmiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvério Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaltino Vieira to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hogwarts's goalkeeper Joaquim Pimenta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Firmiano booed when Hogwarts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Firmiano's Zeca Moreira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hogwarts. 64 minutes into the game, one of Firmiano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Firmiano's zone, Luisão Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Favoretto came out of the goal and Luisão Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Firmiano's Silvério Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Firmiano's Alessandro Tepedino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquim Pimenta. That made the score 2-4 after 74 minutes of play. Ismael Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisão Botelho in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Enio Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hogwarts and the Firmiano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Enio Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeca Moreira, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ismael Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisão Botelho in the 83rd minute of play. Ismael Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Vieira in the 87th minute of the match. Joaquim Pimenta was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Alessandro Tepedino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alessandro Tepedino really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. If Romeu Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Firmiano players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
