If Waldir Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Germano Gaspar to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Waldir Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nakatanni FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldir Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Gaspar in the 57th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Nakatanni FC's Valdo Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Almir Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Sinunga EC's Almir Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Cruz in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Evandro Barbosa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nakatanni FC's Waldir Motta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sinunga EC's Almir Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Alagoano in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Leonardo Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nakatanni FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almir Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Sinunga EC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Barreto came free, but Almir Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geraldo Arósio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto Andrade. Nakatanni FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There was no doubt that Nakatanni FC were the better team. Nakatanni FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
