Spectators: 5700 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michel Quintal started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Pirani in the 7th minute of play forced Massape's goalkeeper Lenílson Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Toledo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Massape defense, Alessandro Valadares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lenílson Toledo. The Massape fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lenílson Toledo should have stopped the shot. Lenílson Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Renato Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Renato Leme in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lenílson Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, VSKG C.E.E.J's goalkeeper André Luís Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agostinho Campidelis. Alessandro Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Agostinho Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Medeiros having to interfere. Agostinho Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agostinho Campidelis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, André Luís Medeiros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 40 minutes into the match, Massape's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Leme came free, but Lenílson Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Renato Leme made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Massape's zone, Jonas Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lenílson Toledo came out of the goal and Jonas Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the game, Diogo Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Massape's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VSKG C.E.E.J the free kick. Jonas Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Lenílson Toledo managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when VSKG C.E.E.J's Jonas Pirani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lenílson Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Pirani went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the match, Agostinho Campidelis notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of VSKG C.E.E.J's André Luís Medeiros. André Luís Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Luís Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agostinho Campidelis in the 75th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Massape got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Campidelis. With a little luck, Massape's Lenílson Toledo got control of the ball when Jonas Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Durval Chaves's late challenge caught a Massape's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Durval Chaves helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to VSKG C.E.E.J getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Durval Chaves hit a great ball. André Luís Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 94 played minutes VSKG C.E.E.J got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Leme. In the 97th minute of the match Amauri Toledo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lenílson Toledo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. VSKG C.E.E.J had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
