Ricardo Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Toledo having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Benigno Michael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Paide got free with Lenílson Toledo in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kiko Neiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lenílson Toledo having to make a save. Benigno Michael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benigno Michael to strike the kick off in the second half. Massape's Lenílson Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Paide in the 52nd minute of play. Lenílson Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Michael, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Ricardo Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Lenílson Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Massape's zone, Benigno Michael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lenílson Toledo came out of the goal and Benigno Michael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomás Alagoano during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michel Quintal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernandinho Mello having to make a save. A collision led to F. C. Amargoso getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Thomás Alagoano hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes, F. C. Amargoso's Wilian Marquez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lenílson Toledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F. C. Amargoso reached it. In the 72nd minute of the match Durval Diniz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lenílson Toledo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, F. C. Amargoso's Fernandinho Mello got control of the ball when Agostinho Campidelis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Massape's Túlio Marinho tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Wilian Marquez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lenílson Toledo. Massape's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Massape's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Michael came free, but Lenílson Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomás Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kiko Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Toledo having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Massape got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Britto. If Benigno Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Toledo having to interfere.
