Woller FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Furtados FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Woller FC's Válter Ceresso got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Naldo Aparecido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adilson Koehler in the 23rd minute. With an all-out effort, Furtados FC's Naldo Aparecido threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Geovani Meirelles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Woller FC's Naldo Aparecido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Woller FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovani Meirelles in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Aparecido saved Woller FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Meirelles in the 29th minute of play forced Woller FC's goalkeeper Naldo Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovani Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adilson Koehler might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naldo Aparecido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adilson Koehler ran back to his position shaking his head. Beto da Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Naldo Aparecido having to make a save. Woller FC's Naldo Aparecido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Woller FC from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute Geovani Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Adilson Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geovani Meirelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Breckenfeld was the one to do the kick off. If Geovani Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute of the match Clemente Sousa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Naldo Aparecido showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 58th minute Ismael Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovani Meirelles took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Naldo Aparecido. Naldo Aparecido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ismael Breckenfeld's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Válbson Baiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Furtados FC were the better team. Furtados FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
