DIAMONDS's Mathias Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save DIAMONDS from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Igor Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathias Guimarães was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Gabriel Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Maranhense got free with Gabriel Freire in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
