After the first half Canelas FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enio Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Duarte Quirino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Canelas FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, Bacada's Adrianinho Vides got control of the ball when Dorival Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line.
