Spectators: 7046 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Enio Medeiros made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Bacada's goalkeeper Adrianinho Vides had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dênis Leme. A collision led to Bacada getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Hermínio Monteiro hit a great ball. Dênis Lemes short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Adrianinho Vides to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lauro da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Vides having to interfere. Hermínio Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amauri Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Medeiros in the 26th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Lauro da Silveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrianinho Vides. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Lauro da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dênis Leme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrianinho Vides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The Gois fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Gois's Dênis Leme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 41 minutes, Lauro da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gois's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauro da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dênis Leme who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Adrianinho Vides when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lauro da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dênis Leme made the kick off in the second half. Hermínio Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dênis Leme in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrianinho Vides prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Dênis Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Leme in the 68th minute of play forced Bacada's goalkeeper Adrianinho Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magno Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Adrianinho Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dênis Leme in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrianinho Vides saved Bacada from getting behind. Lauro da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gois's Lauro da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Gois were the better team. Gois's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
