Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomás Aparecido started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldo de Castro during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of real madrid booed when DIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hílton Pimenta was a little too slow when Tomás Aparecido got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Tomás Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tomás Aparecido came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the real madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Aparecido couldn't finish the play. Hílton Pimenta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romário de Azevedo in the 15th minute. Patrick Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Magalhães having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in real madrid's zone, Ronaldo de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jano Magalhães came out of the goal and Ronaldo de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrick Mineiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jano Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Jano Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo de Castro in the 26th minute of play. DIAN's Hílton Pimenta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save DIAN from getting a goal against them. Romário de Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Hílton Pimenta made a huge save. Tomás Aparecido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Ronaldo de Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but real madrid's Jano Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Patrick Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jano Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Patrick Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Tomás Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Mineiro was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Tomás Aparecido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The real madrid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Romário de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Pimenta having to interfere. Hílton Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Aparecido in the 59th minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Patrick Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrick Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hílton Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário de Azevedo in the 66th minute of play. Tomás Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Hílton Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hílton Pimenta came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by real madrid's Romário de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Romário de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When Tomás Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored real madrid's protests and gave Tomás Aparecido a yellow card for diving instead. Tomás Aparecido hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Romário de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Pimenta having to interfere. Hílton Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Aparecido in the 93rd minute of the match. real madrid's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
