Adriano Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nova Granada Soccer getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Adriano Rodrigues hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ramon Cordeara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Granada Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Cordeara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Régis Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Nova Granada Soccer booed when Da Vinci FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Da Vinci FC's César Britto got a free kick in the 11th minute. Edson Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Chaves having to interfere. Diego Valladares hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Juan Cristóbal í Lon Jacobsen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tomás Palmeira. 29 minutes into the match, Da Vinci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Papi Colorado came free, but Régis Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Régis Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Papi Colorado, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. César Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Cristóbal í Lon Jacobsen having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, César Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Da Vinci FC's supporters rose to their feet, but César Britto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Cristóbal í Lon Jacobsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Papi Colorado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Papi Colorado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Reid Julian made the kick off in the second half. If Adriano Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Scalabrino kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Papi Colorado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Régis Chaves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Papi Colorado did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Régis Chaves 59 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nova Granada Soccer! A collision led to Nova Granada Soccer getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. João Paulo Leal hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Nestor Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 78 in the game by Adriano Rodrigues from a close distance when the talented Régis Chaves managed to make a qualified save. Da Vinci FC's players were relieved. 80 minutes into the match, Mihai Eminescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Régis Chaves, 0-3. When Michel Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Da Vinci FC's protests and gave Michel Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. Mihai Eminescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Chaves having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Da Vinci FC's Maciej Wolnik got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute of the match, Mihai Eminescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Régis Chaves saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Régis Chaves made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Emerson Fontes sent off a good shot on target. In the 98th match minute, Da Vinci FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Rezende to maneuver through the defense. Michel Paraíba tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Régis Chaves. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-5 in the 100th minute. The Da Vinci FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nova Granada Soccer were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
