When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Silveira made a kick off. When Donato Aparecido was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. In the 58th minute, Donato Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zézinho Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Geovânio França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Ortiz got free with Geovânio França in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Igualdade SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fausto Ortiz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Igualdade SC's Geovânio França proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Igualdade SC from getting a goal against them. After 73 played minutes Igualdade SC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Silveira. If Zézinho Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Galáticos MZ booed when Igualdade SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Galáticos MZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
