Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ismael Silveira started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Arthur da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Carlton Blends's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Magalhães came free, but Silvinho Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlton Blends's Silvinho Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Magalhães in the 10th minute of play. Igualdade SC's Geovânio França proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Igualdade SC from getting a goal against them. Gilson Godoi hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Geovânio França made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manoel Guedes in the 16th minute. The supporters of Carlton Blends booed when Igualdade SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur da Mata's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Geovânio França skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 25th minute, Gilson Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Rony Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Igualdade SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rony Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rony Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvinho Baiano having to interfere. Manoel Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manoel Guedes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arthur da Mata was the one to do the kick off. Silvinho Baiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rony Magalhães in the 56th minute. Manoel Guedes scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geovânio França, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geovânio França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur da Mata in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Josué Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manoel Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Geovânio França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Ismael Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Sílvio Luís Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Silveira in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvinho Baiano saved Carlton Blends from getting behind. Manoel Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovânio França read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Arthur Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Carlton Blends's Manoel Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Carlton Blends's zone, Ismael Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvinho Baiano came out of the goal and Ismael Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlton Blends were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Igualdade SC for a fine match.
