Limoeiro Do Norte's Rafa Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Rafa Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 75th minute of the match Rafa Tinoco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rafa Tinoco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ignacy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Baiano in the 85th minute of play. Perivaldo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacy Glogowski having to interfere. Fausto Ortizs short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Andrézinho Mendonça to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The long shot by Maurinho Chaves in the 97th minute really tested Andrézinho Mendonça's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
